Since the revenues of the conference are financing the annual budget of the Association, it is of high importance to control and manage any euro.


Often and due to the structure management of the Association, the Finance team is undersized, and they cannot manage the follow-up of the congress as it should be.


  • Discrepancy between the budget of the event and the books of the event (cancellation of registration, lack of sponsors revenues, management of the exhibitors…)
  • Lack of management control with foreign providers (Thousands of invoices to manage, duplicated invoices…)
  • Increase of the cost during the preparation of the event (ex.: continue development of the registration system)
  • Management of the VAT (incoming and outgoing)
  • Lack of knowledge of the regulations in force (invoicing rules and VAT regulation)


The discrepancy between the result and the cashflow results in less revenues or worse, in a loss for the Association.

Since the revenues are financing the annual budget of the Association, this leads to a decrease of the development of the association.


In order not to know the shortcomings and uncertainties of organizing an International Conference, with the financial consequences, BC&A offers not-for-profit Association a professional VAT and finance management of the annual Conference.
